Scapeworks were engaged by Diona to find a solution to fill ELCOROCK sand bags (from Geofabrics) in situ on site, to create a temporary sea wall so they could complete some canal works. The job was time sensitive as we needed to work with the tides. Our crews started at 3pm on a Friday afternoon and worked through the night with rotating shifts to complete the works by lunchtime on Saturday. 160Tn of sand was installed to approximately 80 bags. The material was stockpiled and loaded on site to ensure productivity could beat the rising tides.
